A new $40 million water purchase tender in the southern connected Murray-Darling Basin has been announced by the Federal Government.

 

In the Tender, offers to sell permanent water entitlements will be accepted from the following river catchments in the southern connected Murray-Darling Basin (the southern connected Basin); the New South Wales Murray and Murrumbidgee catchments; the South Australian Murray catchment and the following Victorian regulated catchments: Murray, Goulburn, Campaspe and Loddon.

 

The tender will close at 5.00pm AEDST on Friday 4 March 2011.
