WaterNSW has confirmed two new board appointments.

The authority says two members will join its board of directors including new chair, Peter Duncan.

Mr Duncan will commence in the role immediately, alongside new director, Ms Victoria Taylor. The term of their appointment is March 2022-2025.

Mr Duncan has more than 40 years’ experience in government and infrastructure, holding various senior public sector roles including the departments of Premier and Cabinet, Transport for NSW, and Primary Industries. 

He has also worked as chief executive in fields such as transport, infrastructure, forestry, parks, maritime, technology and services.

Ms Taylor has more than two decades’ experience in primary industries policy, governance and communications, including a Ministerial appointment to the NSW Rice Marketing Board.

WaterNSW CEO Andrew George said the significant experience and expertise of Mr Duncan and Ms Taylor will be welcomed by the board and the organisation.
