The Victorian Government has announced it is seeking expressions of interest for 55 board director and chair positions for the state’s 19 regional and metropolitan water corporation boards, with terms of office commencing on 1 October 2012 and expiring September 2015.

 

The state has called for interest from people who can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of one or more of the following disciplines:

 

  • water industry or other service utility
  • natural resource management
  • engineering
  • commercial business
  • capital program delivery
  • law
  • corporate finance
  • strategic planning
  • economics
  • risk management
  • primary production
  • community engagement
  • governance of boards/trusts/committees
  • integrating social, environmental & commercial outcomes
  • leadership.
