MDBA releases draft plan
The Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) has released its draft Basin Plan, starting off a 20 week consultation period that will examine and tweak the Authority’s plan.
The plan will see 2750 gigalitres released into the system, a significant reduction in earlier estimates that ranged from 3,000 to 4,000.
Documents made available:
- Draft Basin Plan (a piece of draft legislation)
- Plain English Summary (an chapter-by-chapter explanation document of the draft)
