Project Engineer - Water Network Solutions

As a growing organisation, we seek motivated and skilled water network professionals who can partner with our clients to reduce leakage in their water supply networks.

What We Are Looking For

  • A dedicated Project Engineer to lead our project delivery and provide expert consultancy to clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with water networks and their daily operation (ideally 10+ years)
  • Demonstrated experience in applying non-revenue water reduction principles and techniques (ideally 5+ years)
  • Exposure to the latest water network software platforms and strong GIS knowledge 
  • Practical experience in the application of water network management strategies, management of field works, and liaison with clients on complex multi-faceted projects
  • Hydraulic modelling and DMA design and implementation experience is preferred
  • Some understanding of remote monitoring IoT devices is advantageous
  • A highly motivated, engaged individual willing to solve problems collaboratively with team members and clients
  • Experience in exceeding client expectations relating to project performance and delivering to an impeccable standard
  • Strong technical writing capability and the ability to succinctly convey complex scenarios to our clients and internal teams
  • Ideally, experience working for small, fast-moving companies
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline)

What You Will Do

  • Lead the consulting and advisory unit of our business, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and the strategic vision to grow this unit
  • Provide consultancy to utility customers and local councils on industry best practices for various water network management initiatives
  • Manage client relationships from identification through to delivery
  • Provide support to our Expert Field Teams during project delivery to ensure exceptional client outcomes
  • Assist the Client Development team in pursuit of new business or account expansion
