SCADA Project Engineer - Parramatta

Preferred location: Parramatta is the preferred location but open to considering the Hunter Hub, Nepean Dam, Albury, Dubbo or Tamworth.

What you’ll do:
  • Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of technical engineering solutions, providing timely support and recommendations to the project manager. 
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings & workshops to determine appropriate solutions to technical challenges across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects 
  • Identify and assess options for project needs, involving key stakeholders in decision-making and evaluating associated costs
  • Ensure clear and comprehensive project briefings and documentation and reporting for effective responses from consultants and contractors, minimising RFIs.
  • Manage design and construction consultants in developing options, concepts, and detailed designs, while overseeing compliance with engineering specifications and standards. 
  • Foster team collaboration, prioritise tasks effectively, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and uphold safety protocols throughout all projects. 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher tertiary institution in Electrical / SCADA engineering or demonstrated equivalent relevant experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with PLC/SCADA control system applications, process control, control systems development process, FAT, SAT/commissioning and cutovers 
  • Experience working collaboratively and making decisions with stakeholders to review, analyse, negotiate and implement technical solutions. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and review of project scope, completion of design process, Functional Design Specifications, P&IDs, electrical circuits, & control system instrumentation 
  • Engineering point of contact for the project stakeholders, designers and contractors to resolve engineering issues, RFIs & ensure project scope is achieved 
  • Current NSW Driver's License
