Join us as Risk and Compliance Manager where you will work across the organisation to lead, advise and maintain our enterprise wide risk management framework and oversee the delivery of corporate compliance activities and obligations.
Working across the business as our risk and compliance expert, you’ll:
- Work across our diverse organisation to educate and strengthen our risk and compliance culture in line with our risk appetite.
- Enjoy a flat structure with opportunities to engage regularly with our Board and Executive Leadership team on strategic and operational risk management.
- Manage and coordinate the annual ISO certification audit program and schedule (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001).
- Be positioned as a key influencer to encourage continuous improvement and enhance business systems and processes.
- Build and nurture strong stakeholder relationships that drive ongoing impact across Port of Brisbane.
Collaborative, skilled and great with people: Here’s who we’re looking for:
- You’re a subject matter expert in risk, keen to develop and grow the breadth of your expertise in compliance and assurance and are motivated to have an impact.
- You have a tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in Business, Risk or a related field
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- You enjoy working independently and collaboratively within cross functional teams
- You’re great at building and nurturing productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and of many diverse backgrounds
- You’re resilient and enjoy working within a small team environment to achieve outstanding results.
